Nex-Tech Processing granted approval by Lockheed Martin for the F-35/JSF Program.

NTP has been approved for aluminum processing for non Fracture or Durability Critical items.

Wichita, KS - After several months of audits and on-site visits, Nex-Tech Processing has been granted approval for processing of aluminum components for the Lockheed Martin Joint Strike Fighter program.

Approved processes include:

  • Penetrant Inspection
  • Hardness/Conductivity Testing
  • Chromic Acid Anodize
  • Chemical Conversion Coating
  • Prime, Paint and Fuel Tank Coating

“This is a big win for NTP, and the community as a whole,” said Terry Karst, General Manager. “NTP is now able to provide more support to local machine shops who fabricate parts for the JSF program. Rather than shipping parts out of town to be processed, we’re able to help those shops keep work right here in Wichita.”

Current approval is limited to aluminum processing only. Nex-Tech Processing continues to pursue further approvals for processing components fabricated from titanium and steel.

More information about processing capabilities at Nex-Tech Processing can be found at www.nex-techprocessing.com. Quotes for turn time can be directed to Customer Service at (316) 943-0731.
